Alice Edmondson

Principal Actuary
A co-founder and principal of CASCO, Alice provides property/casualty and health/welfare benefit actuarial consulting services to private and public sector self insurers, risk retention groups and captive insurance companies. She is a recognized loss reserve specialist in Vermont, Colorado, South Carolina, Bermuda, and the Cayman Islands.
Her 30 years' experience includes:

- Regulatory opinions for captives and risk retention groups
- Multi-year cost and liability forecasts
- Cost benchmark studies by industry and/or geographic area
- Legislative and judicial change impact analysis

- Captive financial strategy assistance

Merger, acquisition, and new venture analysis.
Alice is a member of the Casualty Actuarial Society, the Society of Actuaries, and the American Academy of Actuaries, and served on the Board of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries from 1992-1998. She led the casualty actuarial practice at A. Foster Higgins & Company before forming CASCO in early 1996.
